Jiufen close to Nanya?

Hi,

I am planning to get to Nanya from jiufen. But I am having problems with whether I should make it an all day trip through Yeliu -%26gt; Keelung -%26lt; Jiufen -%26gt; JinGuahShi -%26gt; Nanya

It seems from taiwan tourism board that Nanya is in the township of gongliao …taiwan.net.tw/lan/…

Is there any bus to get there or driving have to be done?

Thanks if anyone could help me with it.

Jiufen close to Nanya?

You can make a full day trip to Yehliu %26gt; Keelung %26gt; Jiufen %26gt; Jinguashih %26gt; Nanya

Nanya rock formation is in Rueifang Township, Taipei County the same township as Jiufen, Jinguashih and Shui-nan-tong and Pitou Cape.

The address stated in the website of tourism bureau is the Northeast and Yilan Coast National Scenic Area Administration, Tourism Bureau, MOTC. The administration office is in Gongliao Township, Taipei County.

Jiufen close to Nanya?

Hi,

wonder if

Yehliu %26gt; Keelung %26gt; Jiufen %26gt; Jinguashih %26gt; Nanya

is very touch and go kind? How early should i set off?

If i want to cover

Nanya %26gt; Bitou cape %26gt; Jinguashi %26gt; jiufen %26gt; shifen

is it possible? how early should i set off. Want a more relax trip.

I considering taking 2 days to cover yehliu, jiufen, jinguashi, shifen (shifen and jingtong if can), nanya, bitoucape, and bisha fish port if worth. How should i group them? thanks

Thanks a lot!

The last link is very useful as it shows the places in the surrounding areas.

Is it too pack an itinery for all the above places? For a day tour, I am not too sure if I have overpack the itinery

You can plan your itinerary with an overnight stay in Keelung or Jiufen (instead of stay overnight in Taipei) to reduce some traveling time. Yehliu Ecological Park opens at 0800 hrs. You can also do Yehliu %26gt; Keelung %26gt; Nanya %26gt; Jinguashih %26gt; Jiufen in this sequence. Note the closing times of Gold Ecological Park in Jinguashih.

Gold Ecological Park

No 8 Jinguang Rd, Rueifang Township, Taipei County

Tel: (02) 2496 2800

Admission: NT$100 (Adult) NT$70 (Child)

Opening hrs: 0930 to 1700 hrs Tuesday through Friday (Ticket counter close at 1600 hrs) 0930 to 1800 hrs Saturday %26amp; Sunday (Ticket counter close at 1700 hrs)

Closed on Mondays and public holidays.

Suggested itinerary for two full days with an overnight stay in Jiufen:

Yehliu %26gt; Keelung %26gt; Bisha Fish Port %26gt; Nanya %26gt; Bitou Cape %26gt; Shui-nan-tong -- Yin Yang Hai %26gt; Golden Waterfalls %26gt; Jiufen (overnight)

Jinguashih %26gt; Rueifang %26gt; Shifen %26gt; Pingsi %26gt; Jing-tong %26gt; Rueifang %26gt; Keelung Miaokou %26gt; Taipei

The above itinerary can be covered comfortably in two full days. If you need help on directions, ask the locals who are always so helpful. This saves you some time in locating the correct bus stop to wait and board the bus and alighting at the correct stop. Detailed bus route maps are provided in the Keelung bus website http://www.klbus.com.tw

There is so much flexibility in the travel route when planning an itinerary for a DIY trip depending on where you start your journey.

Happy planning!

Hi taiwanDIY,

thanks for your info hee. i dun think i can do them all cos i have book my accomdation, so i need to go back to taipei. If i were to choose 1 to 2 between nanya, ying yang hai and bituo cape, which one is better?

Must i board the bus from keelung or ruifang have the bus too? Any idea the est travelling time to these places? thanks..:)

Thanks a lot for your help!

It seems some places like Lailai and san diego cape looks worth the trip. It seems there is a kuokang bus that can go to lailai and so on. I guess I might just go there and ask around for help.

Hi,

can i check if there is any shops ard these attraction like bituo cape, nanya etc... cos i see the website

www.necoast-nsa.gov.tw/user/Article.aspx…

for Bitou, it say delicious delicacies...fresh seafood, seaweed biscuits, laver .. so wonder there got any shop for us to have our lunch? thanks

You can visit all 3 places (Ying Yang Hai, Nanya and Bitou Cape) as they are near to each other along the coastal route. Ying Yang Hai (at Shui-nan-tong) and Bitou Cape is about 6 km apart. Nanya is in between these two places and is nearer to Bitou Cape (two bus-stops distance).

Keelung bus “國家新城--福隆”departs Keelung Bus Station (next to Keelung Railway Station) and travels by the coastal road to Bitou Cape. Fare: NT$65 Travel time: About 1 hr

You can also catch a free shuttle minibus from the bus stop just outside the shops and café at the front of Rueifang Railway Station (Mingdeng Rd Sec 3). The minibus operates on a loop service. Check the signboard at the bus stop for the bus time table. I took the 0930 hrs free shuttle minibus in March 2007. Travel time: About 25~30 mins. Don’t know if the free shuttle minibus still operates.

Bitou Cape is a park with trails to vantage point to admire the coastal scenery as you can see from the pictures in the website. Eating places near Bitou: www.necoast-nsa.gov.tw/user/Assist.aspx…

You can go to the fish ports or harbors like Bisha, Aodi, Longdong where there are many seafood restaurants. Aodi and Longdong are places beyond Bitou Cape if you are coming from Keelung city.

Hey,

thanks for the details.. hee..I%26#39;m planning to do this

• Jiufen

• Wufenpu

• Raohe

Do u think this is possible? comments welcome..hee..Plan to set off at ard 7plus am each day..

Btw where does the free shuttle mini bus go? thanks

1 day..Monday (covering the coastal attractions)

• Yehliu

• Bitou Cape

• Shui-nan-tong – ying yang hai

• Golden Waterfalls

The free shuttle minibus departs Rueifang Bus Station and goes to Shui-nan-tong, Shen-ao (深澳), back to Shui-nan-tong, Bitou Cape. It returns to Rueifang via Shui-nan-tong, Golden Waterfalls, Jinguashih and Jiufen. Minibus frequency is not regular. The Keelung buses are more regular and reliable.
