thank u for such great feedback on this forum. i will be travelling to taiwan from 24 till 31 dec.

thank for all the info with mr lu, i have manage to book mr lu to bring me around on 26 and 27 dec. generally how long is his day trip (from what time till wat time)?

cos my mum was planning to book the 1030am tze chiang train from taipei to hualien which mean we will only reach by noon time. also she want to check in to the hotel before heading to the day trip. is it feasible? we are staying at C%26#39;est Jeune hotel.

should i get mr lu to pick me at the train station or at the hotel?

Most cabbie tours start at 10:00~10:30 and end at 5:00~6:00. Do take into consideration when planning that it gets dark at 5PM in the winter months. I think that Mr. Lu would be able to offer you the best advice for your itinerary; you may want to give him a call in the evening, when he%26#39;ll have already finished his day%26#39;s work.

When I was at Hualien 2 weeks ago, we engaged Mr Lu%26#39;s service too. :) Basically he can start any time you want and ends only when you are tired out. For our case, we started the day at 8.30am, after the sumptous breakfast at the minsu and ended the evening about 7pm. As for tranport to and from the train station, its more like a complimentary service since we have him for 2 days. :)

hi thank for the reply... think will try to book a much earlier train to hualien... plan to contact mr lu when i get there (has msg him 2 days ago)

now worried if i can still get tickets online... will have totry tomorrow early morning
