Need some help urgently with this. We are unable to get a international driving license as we don%26#39;t reside in home country Singapore now. We want to rent a car in Taiwan but wonder if the rental companies are all strict to see the international driving license?

Usually, the rental companies will check the driving license. They do the check to us,too.

I think they don%26#39;t want to take any risk to see any issue.

But, I think you could still ask your rental companies to see what they will do.

the big companies would want to have a photo copy of your international license. In your case, you may want to call up the Singapore embassy in Bangkok and see what they can do.
