have anyone tried using the free hot spring vvoucher given by the tourism board? Can advise me which hot spring in xin beituo have mixed public pool which i can use this voucher? thanks

We went to Spring City Resort @ xin beitou for the hot spring given by the Taiwan tourism board on 1st Dec, Monday.
We went abt 10.30 am and it was quite crowded.
It is a mixed outdoor pool, need to wear swim suit. Towels, slippers, shampoo and soap are provided.
About 6 mini hot springs and 2 cold springs. 15mins walk from Xin beituo station and when returned, we took the
free shuttle service from the resort.

thanks for ur info. hee.. wow monday is crowded i think mine will be super crowded cos going on a monday most likely. hee... do we need to wear swim cap? so they have locker to put our thing right? sorry for many qn :)

Yes, a locker for everyone. Either you wear a shower cap or tied up your hair.
oh is shower cap provided or have to buy? tie must be bun or jus pony tail hee.. thanks

Bring your own shower cap, as long your hair not swimming in water.
Sorry my hubby says 25mins walk not 15 mins walks to the resort from xin beitou.
hee.. thank u...is there any diretion how to walk? I am keen in visitng hell valley and hot spring meseum too... wonder if i%26#39;ll pass by them when i walking to hot spring.. :)

There will be signs directing you to Beitou Geothermal Park (Hell Valley) along the road. After exiting MRT Xinbeitou Station, cross the road and follow the stone sidewalk. You%26#39;ll pass an aboriginal museum and the Beitou Hot Spring Museum on your way to the park, about a 15-min. walk. The park (more of a ';pond';) is closed Mondays.
