Taichung questions

Hi,

Can I check if I want to go to SML to Fuguangshan in Changhua, how should I go about doing it?

Should I take bus from SML to taichung train station and take train to Changhua? What is the bus that I can take to taichung train station from SML and how long does it take? And do I need to book the train tickets in advance or can I buy it on the day itself? I%26#39;m travelling on 1st of Jan. And how much does it cost?

I read up Fuguangshan is very near from Changhua train station, is there a bus reaching there? Or should I just take a taxi from the train station?

Roughly how long should i cater for Fuguangshan?

Any other interesting areas to cover near Fuguangshan?

Thanks in advance.

The most notable landmark in Changhua city is the Great Buddha on a hilltop -- Pakua Shan, not Fuguangshan. Fuguangshan Monastery is in Ta-shu Township, Kaohsiung County.

Pakua Shan Buddha is 21.8m tall sitting on a 4.2m high lotus pedestal. It is located just 5 mins’ car drive from Changhua Railway Station. There is no public bus service from Changhua Railway Station uphill to Pakua Shan. Taxi fare: About NT$120
