Hello,

Taichung:

The National Museum of Natural Science and National Museum of Fine Arts is in Taichung City:

http://www.tmoa.gov.tw/home.php

Alishan:

I think that your minsu owner would be the best person to give you directions on how to go there by bus---you may even ask if they can pick you up at the bus stop if necessary.

Taipei:

The MRT will still be running, so you will be able to get back to your hotel after the concert.

Dec. 31 - Better to do Din Tai Fung before heading out to Eslite and the Taipei 101 area, because as evening approaches, more and more people will be taking the MRT to that area.

Jan. 1 - Yangmingshan on New Year%26#39;s Day will probably be packed with people!

BTW, Jan. 1 %26amp; 2 are holidays, which means it%26#39;ll be a 4-day weekend. Be prepared to fight for your right to party, for booking hotels and transporation may turn out to be quite a challenge.

okie! I think I%26#39;ll swap the activities on 1st Jan to later date.

Also, for the countdown concert, is there any website to see more details of it?

And, what about the tour around Taroko? The cab tour is too expensive for us. any other options?

Thanks! =)

for Taroko,

one could, 1.take the Hualien keyun aka hualien bus service, there is a bus stop right outside the railway station, tix ard 1-200NT.2.Join a half or 1 day tour, bookable at any hotel, used to cost 600nt and 1200nt per person, not sure if the price have cahnged.
