Wedding matters @ Taipei

Hi all,

We%26#39;re getting married next year. We%26#39;re going to Taiwan next March for a wedding shoot and are thinking of whether we could get a few other things done over at the same time.

Is it cheaper/expensive to get Cartier wedding bands (Love series) at Taipei? Does anyone knows the costs of it?

Also, would it be cheaper to purchase/rent wedding gowns in Taipei? Or are there those independent designers with unique gowns that are worth checking it out?

Most of the wedding phto shooting studio has package including gowns hiring. The price of the package depends on the quality of the gowns you expect and the numbers of photos you want. But I don%26#39;t think you can hire a gown and take it back to Singapore. It has to be returned the day after the wedding.

Hiring gowns without taking photos would cost you a fortune and I don%26#39;t recommend to do this unless you have special needs.

One of the best wedding photo studio has a subsidiary in Hong Knog and, as far as I know, they do have Hong Knong customers flying in to take photoes every month. The studio arranges every thing for you including trying on gowns and taking photo in maybe 2 to 3 days. Customers can even get photos done before leaving Taipei.

Actually I had my wedding photos taken in this studio. If you need to know which studio it is, just let me know.

And for the diamonds, sorry I know nothing about Cartier. I spent all my budget on photos. :)

Actually I%26#39;ve a friend who got married this year. They managed to get a bridal package from Sophia and was able to bring the gowns back to Singapore. But they were working in Taipei.

I%26#39;m with Romantic Life, my package doesn%26#39;t include the gowns for actual day usages.

I%26#39;m not sure how much the Cartier bands cost in SG, but it%26#39;ll definitely cost more in Taiwan than in Hong Kong.

Are you planning to use the gown in SG? I don%26#39;t think purchasing wedding gowns in Taipei would be cheap. Renting them would involve returning them to Taipei, which would probably make it not worthwhile.
