Taiwan's hotel price list question.

On a lot of hotel%26#39;s website,

I%26#39;ve notice that there are always these 3 prices :

1.Original price

2.Weekday Price (discounted)

3.Weekend/Holiday Price (discounted)

I%26#39;m a bit confused... cause the weekday and weekend prices covers the entire week already. so what%26#39;s the original price for? Or you only get the discounted weekday and weekend prices under certain requirement?

I%26#39;d appreciate it if anyone can clarify it. Thank you.

Original Price is ';List Price'; , Without Original LIST Price, the Hotels cannot show you exactly how generous they are with their discounts :) :)

The discount on Weekdays is Sunday to Thursday

Weekend is generally Friday and Sat.

Holiday is generally EVE OF Public holidays.

hotel rates are seasonal n varies with occupancy. Most hotels here charge their rack rates only in peak season, namely the major holidays like the Chinese Lunar NY etc.
