Hi, may I know how to go Fisherman Wharf (Yu Ren Ma Tou) from Danshui Mrt? Any good recommendation of sightseeing places and places to eat at there? Thanks.

you can hire a a cab from Danshui Old Street to Fishermen’s Wharf. Cab fare: About NT$120 Travel time: About 9 mins. You can also take the public buses Red 26, 836 and 837 bus from the bus stop at Danshui Old Street Fare: NT$15 (can use Easycard) Travel time: About 15 mins.

There are two ferry service companies (順風航業、臺北航運) serving the Danshui (淡水客船碼頭) -- Pali (八里客船碼頭), Danshui -- Fishermen’s Wharf (淡水漁人碼頭) and Pali -- Fishermen’s Wharf routes. Ferry frequency is regular. Ferry travel time from Danshui to Fishermen’s Wharf is 12 mins. Fare: NT$50 There is no discount for return ferry tickets (twice the price of one-way tickets with no discount).
