Hi,
May I know what is the best way to travel to Wufenpu and Raohe St. NM? Any idea what time they open and close? Any day to avoid going? Thanks.
Wufenpu and Raohe St. NM
Wufenpu Wholesale Clothing Centre: http://www.wufenpu.com
Wufenpu Wholesale Clothing Centre is open 7 days a week. Most stores open from around noon till past midnight. On Sundays, stores may close earlier past 2100 hrs. Monday is reserved for wholesalers. Still can go, but may not get services as good as usual.
Raohe St night market: http://www.raohe.com.tw
Raohe St night market is open 7 days a week from dinner time till around 0100 hrs.
If coming from XMD, board MRT train at Ximen Station to Taipei Main Station. Transfer to TRA train headed to Songshan Railway Station. Exit Songshan Railway Station, cross the road and walk into Wufenpu. It is a longer walk from Houshanpi MRT Station to Wufenpu. Wufenpu Wholesale Clothing Centre and Raohe St night market are within walking distances on each side of Songshan Railway Station.

I think drop off at Huoshanpi because u can drop by to try the hu xu zhang lu ruo fan fourmer recommended. Then walk ard wu fen pu, cross over to song shan train station and raohe is behind it.It%26#39;s not far from huoshanpi. But If you drop by songshan, mean u must walk to and fro song shan in order to go raohe. Just my opinion. :)
Thanks for your reply. May I know is it difficult to get on the correct train to Song Shan? IS the train frequent?
If walk from Houshanpi station, how long will it take? Is Wufenpu and Raohe St. NM stroller-friendly? Thanks
Boarding railway trains from Taipei Railway Station to Songshan Station is not at all difficult. Train platform have directional signs indicating towards Songshan and Wanhua Stations. Songshan Station is just one station stop away from Taipei Railway Station. Train departures are very frequent. Most if not all trains make a stop at Songshan Station, a major station in Taipei city. Simply purchase a ticket from the ticket counter or ticket machine. Fare: NT$18 Travel time: About 8 mins.
If coming by MRT train, alight at Houshanpi Station and take exit 1. Walk along Jhongpo N Rd for about 8 mins to the intersection of Jhongpo N Rd and Yongji Rd. Wufenpu and Raohe St. NM with its open streets / lanes seems to be quite stroller-friendly if it is not too crowded.
Thanks. Can we use you you card for the train?
Yes, you can use Taipei city%26#39;s Easycard (悠遊卡) at railway stations for rides anywhere along the route between Keelung and Chungli: http://www.easycard.com.tw/use.php?x=6%26id=483
A total of 19 stations along the route accept payment of railway train fares by Easycards.
