Hi All,
After reading several post, I have decided to drop Beitou and instead to head for Wulai. I hope I have make a right choice!
A few questions and hope you can help me about Wulai.
1. After reading through all the post, seems like one of the better hot spring there is the full moon spa. May I know which bus stop should I alight and how should I get back to Xindan MRT after the hot spring session?
2. Does Full moon spa has a private hot spring with a scenery to view? I try to avoid enclosed private hot spring.
3. I intend to engage a taxi driver there to bring us to various place in Wulai once we reach there. May I know is there any recommendation on which taxi driver should I call? I do not know what are the places of interest in Wulai but I read the inner cave and Green Lake should be interesting and I hope the taxi driver will bring us there. BTW, where is Green Lake?
4. May I know the rate of a taxi driver to bring us around Wulai and how many hours will that be?
5. I read some where after after reaching the Inner Cave park, we will still need to walk about 15mins to the waterfall. Will the taxi driver walk with us to the cave or he will wait at the entrance?
6. What other interesting things are there to see in Wulai for a day trip?
7. Any recommended food to eat in Wulai? We intend to do the hot spring after lunch. Is that possible?
Thanks.
Questions about Wulai
It is not advisable to do the hot spring with a full stomach or immediately after a meal.
Questions about Wulai
YMS or Wulai? personally , I prefer YMS/ Beitou but that%26#39;s just personal preference.
I went to Wulai but did not try the hot spring there. I had it in Beitou. I took the bus from Xindian Station and there%26#39;s only one bus stop at Wulai, so just wait there and there are lot%26#39;s of buses back to the MRT station.
15 minutes to the waterfall? I think need about 30 to 45 minutes. hehe.. luckily the weather was not hot when i was there (december last year)!!
At first I thought of having my lunch there but at the end of the day, trying those snacks already made me full. hehe..I love the pork hotdog and the di gua... :)
here%26#39;s some pictures of the pork hotdog..

and di gua (sweet potato)..

enjoy ur trip!
Hi mariatan,
Can you share with me why you choose Beitou over Wulai?
Thanks.
Hi jyrh,
Can you let me know which hot spring did you go to Beitou and your experience? Also, how much do they charge and which package did you get?
Thanks.
Sorry to ask again, but can some kind soul help me please?
Thanks.
mousehunt, I prefer YMS over Wulai because there are more to-do%26#39;s there as compared to the latter ( i%26#39;m not a nature person n although I do like walking thru the greens, too much %26#39;ulu%26#39; trails is not the thing for me).YMS is also alot nearer to TP city so making transport easier.
