itenerary for 9 day trip!

my cousin and i are planning to visit taiwan from 2nd to 10th of july for a holiday. its just going to be 2 of us ladies and we%26#39;re planning to tour taipei thoroughly. please help me see if my itenerary is feasible. also, we have some empty slots which i dont know what else to put in so if u guys could give some suggestions on what to do, i%26#39;d be most grateful! i%26#39;ve also included directions to some places as well. please help to see if my directions are correct. Thank u in advance!

DAY 1:

we%26#39;ll be flying by Singapore Airlines so we%26#39;ll probably reach Taoyuan International Airport by around 1++pm. go to the bus terminal and bus coach tickets to Taipei Main Station. From TMS, take MRT to Beitou and check into Broadway Hotel (百樂匯). i know it%26#39;ll be summer time and it%26#39;ll be hot but both of us want to experience soaking in a private hot spring, hence the stay at this hotel. Go to the car restaurant for dinner. (is there any other place around the area where there%26#39;s cheap and nice food? %26#39;cos we heard that the food in car restaurant isnt exactly nice..). shop at the export shops around the area.

DIRECTIONS TO CAR RESTAURANT: 金屋藏車食堂P.S. Bu Bu 台北市中山北路七段140巷1號1樓No. 1, Lane 140, Zhongshan N. Rd. Sec. 7 (Board a MRT train to Shipai Station. Exit station, turn right and cross the road at traffic light junction. Bus Red 19 bus-stop is in front of Dinguagua. Alight at Tienmu roundabout, walk further up for about 5~7mins.)

DAY 2:

Eat breakfast around the area and check out of the hotel. Take MRT to Taipei Main Station and check into Cosmos Hotel. eat lunch and shop at Ximending. around 1-2 pm, head to National Palace Museum. Head to Shilin night market for dinner after that.

DIRECTIONS TO NATIOANL PALACE MUSUEM: Take MRT to shilin station and take red bus 30, bus 255, 304, minibus 18 %26amp; 19.

DAY 3:

Go to the yonghe shop to have breakfast. Take MRT to Dingxi station and ask for directions (does anyone know this shop? apparently its quite famous but im not very sure). [HELP NEEDED TO SLOT SOMETHING IN! i dont think we can spend the whole day in Danshui can we? but we want to see the sunset though.] Go to Danshui. Old street/ fisherman’s wharf. look around and see the sunset. head to Gongguan Night Market for dinner.

DAY 4:

Go to Miniatures Museum of Taiwan (袖珍博物館), B1, 96 Jianguo North Rd, Sec. 1. Tel:+886 2 2515-0583. (What%26#39;s the nearest MRT station to the museum?)

proceed to Weekend Jade Market (假日玉市) – The Jianguo Weekend Flower Market is located under the Jianguo expressway, at the intersection of Renai and Xinyi roads, Taipei:

Bus :36, 37, 48, 65, 226, 263, 270, 274.

Is the weekend market located near the Museum?

DAY 5:

Go to Yeliu and jiufen and spend the day there.

DIRECTION TO YELIU: Take kuo kuang hao bus heading to jinshan from zhongxiao fuxing mrt. The bus stop is outside exit 2 of the station. Bus fare is NT83. Alight at the Yeliu stop.

YELIU TO JIUFEN:

Take a bus (opposite direction from which you came) to Keelung Station; transfer to a bus headed for ';Jinguashih';, alighting at Jiufen or Jinguashih

JIUFEN BACK TO TAIPEI:

Take bus to Ruifang station. (Ask the bus driver to confirm direction and destination of bus). Take train back to Taipei.

Are the directions correct? and the train from ruifang station stops at Taipei Main Station right?

Got to Miramar Ferris Wheel.

DAY 6:

eat lunch at Din Tai Fung at the zhongxiao- fuxing branch. (is this branch less crowded? and is the standard of the food the same no matter which branch you go?) Go to wu fen pu. Have dinner at Raohe night market.

DAY 7:

we%26#39;re planning to watch a recording of yu le bai fen bai. according to a friend who has been there, recordings happen every thursday and you have to start queueing early like around morning. so we%26#39;ll be spending our whole day there. After the recording, go down to Xinyi district/ 东区. 101 at night/ shin kong mitsukoshi/ new york new york

DAY 8:

Go to Taroko Gorge. Planning to contact Mr Lu Lai Fu but it seems his price has increases. as its just going to be the 2 of us, im only wanting to spend at most around S$120 for both of us which is around NT2400-2500. anyone knows if he can still give us this price or any other driver just as good who charges this price?

DAY 9:

last minute shopping around Ximending and the underground metro mall. proceed to airport and fly home!

Day3 Skip the MRT Dingxi station. The shop is 永和豆漿 not special anymore.You can find it everywhere in Taipei for breakfast.

Taking a ferry to Pali (八里左岸)from the Danshui old street,then to take a walk or rent a bike it%26#39;s fun really.

Beside the river ,there are some special coffee shops next to the Danshui old sreet , it is so relax to have a coffee there in the afternoon.

Day 5 the new MRT station next to Mirmar Ferris Wheel will be opened this May.
