Changing of NT in taiwan

Hi

I have read alot of posts mentioning that changing of Singapore dollars to NT at Taiwan Airport, you can get more. Is it true? And is their money changer opend 24 hrs? Thanks

Heard alot of people mentioning this on the forums too and decided to try my luck at the Taiwan Airport. However, was quite disappointed with the rate when I went there. It was 21.7, lower than what I exchanged for in SG. I exchanged half of my money in SG for 21.88.

icic. Thanks. Any other people has such experiences where by money changed at taiwan is lower than in Singapore. By the way when did u change the money ?

by far the best rates (even if u usually will have to pay a fee to your bank) you can get using an ATM at the destination u travel to.....

Usually i change at the arcade in Singapore, not sure about the rates there. but i just returned to taipei, the money changer with the best rate opens till 10.40pm. Sadly the exchange rate is only 21.66 now.

I have just changed on saturday 31/1/09 at Arcade, 2nd flr. rates for NT is 22.05. think its quite a good rate
