YMS Bus service 108

Hi,

I am staying near to Taipei Train Station and intend to take MRT to Xin Beitou MRT and transfer a bus to YMS. I believe this is faster.

However, after reading through some post here, it seems like there isn%26#39;t any common bus stop that is shared by any bus and bus 108.

I have read a post saying that after alighting from the bus from Taipei, we still have to walk about 30mins just to reach the 108 bus stop.

So may I know does anyone here have any experience how do I get on to service 108 using the least walking method? The reason I ask is that my wife leg%26#39;s aren%26#39;t very well so we try to minimize walking as much as we can.

Thanks.

Take MRT to Beitou Station and take bus 230 to yangmingshan. they will drop you somewhere near the bus station to take 108. not much walking needed. about the bus fare, i dont really remember.

Alight at Beitou station, exit your left side and u will see a busstop. can take 230 from there.

If you are staying near Taipei Station, It is best if you take the bus 260 from the stop at the back of the Station on Civic Blvd. No need to go all the way to Beitou then take a bus-I think you will be wasting time and money.

Also, when we got off the last stop at YMS on bus 260, the 108 bus station was about 3 mins away on your right. It could have been a typo-30 mins away. I went with my parents both in their 80s.

The starting/ending point for Bus 108 is the YMS bus station which is also where Bus 260 from downtown Taipei stops. Nuttyanz is right about it being a 3-min walk at most. The only thing is having to wait for your turn if there is a long queue. Go early.
