Hello! If there is only time to visit either Hualien (清静农场 + Drive to Hualien, Taroko through the central mountain region) or Alishan, which would be your recommendation?
I%26#39;ve saw rave reviews about 清静农场 and the drive through the central mountain region so am pretty torn...

lu, thanks for posting the link. Wu Ling Farm looks very tempting. Can you advise how one can make a day trip there from taipei? Could one take a train to Yilan and from there is there a direct bus right to the door step of Wu Ling?

The more i look at it, the more i would like to go Wuling Farm. There is a 2-day tour starting from Taipei which I am keen. However, they don%26#39;t provide a phone number for me to call, only a fax number for people to fax in the form which include details on payment via ATM I think. Quite frustrating. Why not provide a telephone number for people to call up to make enquiry and make booking?
