Sun moon lake is located in Yuchih Township, Nantou County, central Taiwan.

Take a high speed rail (HSR) train from Taipei Main Station to Taichung HSR station in Wurih. Travelling time is about 50 mins.

Taichung HSR station is connected to Wurih railway train station. Take a train to Taichung city, one station away. Travelling time is about 10 mins.

Take a Nantou bus from bus station in front of Taichung train station to Puli. Travelling time is about 100 mins. There are also other bus companies buses going to Puli.

Take a Fongrong (green transit) bus from Puli to Sun moon lake. Travelling time is about 30 mins.

Alternatively, there are Kuo Kuang buses from bus station outside Taipei Main Station direct to Sun moon lake but departure times are few. Travelling time is about 4 hrs 30 mins.

Do you know how to get from Cing Jing to Sun Moon Lake? Also, is Sun Moon Lake near to Taichung?

Is it possible to leave Cing Jing at 11am then go to tour Sun Moon Lake and then either stay a night at Sun Moon Lake or stay a night in Taichung? Any good recommendation for Taichung%26#39;s accommodation?
