Wonstar in Ximending was formerly known as ';Onestar';, and this has resulted in quite a bit of confusion. And it gets better---all 4 of their properties have similar, if not identical, names! So please take note of the address when booking, lest you end up in Keelung. :-)

Sorry, but which is the nearest recommended hotel to TS? cuz only offered a room for the last 2 nites for my 5 nites in taipei.. tryin to find alternative rooms nearby, so will make my movin easier from place to place..

Neijiang is the nearest hotel to TS, just around the corner, on the next block.

Previous reviews of Good Ground on this forum from last year and the year before have described it as ';basic, safe and clean';, and one forumer who had stayed there even recommended it to friends. So what happened.......? Either we have some very polite reviewers, or the hotel has really let itself go downhill!

Hi all I%26#39;m stayin in paradise hotel for first 3nites of my stay and wonstar hotel for the next 3nites.

Is wonstar near paradise hotel?

Handsome (Hanshe) Hotel should also be at 3) on the ';closest to MRT Ximen'; list. Handsome is gaining in popularity, following MermaidAriel%26#39;s positive report.

Freakoutantz, Paradise and Wonstar are both in Ximending, about 2 blocks apart.
