Best way to go from airport to sun moon lake

Hi bros here,

anyone can help mi put here? I read the posting till very confused.

I%26#39;ll be arriving at Taoyuan airport either by cathay pacific at 1500 or jetstar at 1740. I would like to go to sun moon lake immediately. Will be doing a round trip.

1)wad is the best and cheapest way to get to sun moon lake?

2)is taoyuan HSR or taipei hsr nearer to airport?

3)How do i get to either taoyuan hsr or taipei hsr?

4)Do i need to book tickets for hsr in advance? can i buy on the spot?if book in advance, how do i pay?

5)if travelling by normal train, how do i go to the train station from airport? do i have to book tickets in advance too?

Any advice wld be greatly appreciate.

1.airport shuttle(U-BUS)-HSR Taoyuan-HSR Taichung/Nanto bus-SML

2.HSR Taoyuan

3.By shuttle(U-BUS)

4.depend on you.In HSR ,you can stand if no seat.

5.HSR is better.Because the latest bus at HSR Taichung is 7:30 pm.Your arrival have better before 7:20pm.

You mean HSR does not give every passenger a seat? If travelling time is %26gt;1hr, the passenger have to stand for 1 hr?

If you don%26#39;t make a reservation for your seat ,then you can choice the no reservation seat(鑷敱搴?, it%26#39;s cheaper sometime but no guarantee that you will have a seat .

If no seat is available you can decide to stand or wait for next Train.
