Suggestion for a day trip: Yilan or Chingjing or.....

Hi.. will appreciate if anyone can give some advice for a day trip or 2D1N trip out of Taipei. I%26#39;ve been to Tainan, Kaohsiung, Alishan, Taichung, Sun Moon Lake so something other than these?

I%26#39;ve in mind Yilan or Chingjing, but wonders if it is a suitable time to visit in winter (3-4th week of Feb) Really appreciate any recommendations or advice!

Was thinking of Taipei-Chingjing-Taichung-Taipei

Are there any night markets in (or near) Yilan?

Your itinerary is doable. If you can go stay overnight at Taichung instead of Taipei would be better, in my opinion. Travel time from Taichung to Chingjing is about 2 hours whereas from Taipei is about 4 hours.
