Question on getting to leofoo

I have some questions regarding leofoo villiage. i know we can board the tailian bus from the zhongxiao dun hua mrt to leofoo rite? if we board from there , then we juz purchase the tickets from the bus driver? is the package (return tix and entrance tix) all buy from the bus driver?

From the website, it seems that the package can only be purchased at designated stops, one of them being the one at Sungshan Domestic Airport. You would be able to buy bus tickets if boarding at Zhongxiao Dunhua, but I don%26#39;t think the driver can sell park tickets. It%26#39;s actually very easy to go to Sungshan Domestic Airport from MRT Zhongxiao Dunhua. Take Bus 909 or 906 northbound---they make a beeline for Songshan Airport.

If you are going from Ximenting,you can take 262 from XIMEN MRT Bus stop(Exit3) to SongShan Airport

I got a suggestion to Leofoo village but dunno whether can work out..

Take the ';Gao Tie'; ( High speed Rail ) from Taipei station to Hsing Chu or Tao Yuan station ( abt 35 min )then change bus to Leofoo ( timing not very sure. If anyone here can advice on this? )

This is more faster than taking bus from Taipei which takes ard 2.5 hrs if I%26#39;m not wrong.. But the transoprt costs r higher for the option I suggest...

Good suggestion and there may be other options in Hsinchu, you can ask the Tourist Info counter.

And while waiting for the bus, do go and have a bawan, a bowl of Mee fen and a small meat ball soup, then in Leofoo, go for one of those hairy rides and tell us what happened :):):)

Thanks for your idea, G4 Creature, it%26#39;s worth looking into. (How about trying out the G5 ride at Janfusun then?) This could also work for traveling to other theme parks, such as Formosan Aboriginal Village Amusement Park in Nantou and Janfusun Fancy World in Yunlin, which actually is the park that%26#39;s 2.5 hrs. away from Taipei by bus. (Leofoo is 1.5 hrs. from Taipei by bus.) Please note that most HSR stations are not centrally located and are therefore not connected to the downtown bus terminals and TRA train stations.

I don%26#39;t think there is a connection from any HSR station to Leofoo. The only feasible HSR-Leofoo route from Taipei would be: From Chungli HSR Station、travel to Chungli Railway Station and take a Chungli Bus to Leofoo.

Are u saying I cant take the HSR to Hsing Chu or Taoyuan HSR station n transfer by bus or cab ( any idea how much? ) into Leofoo?

I don%26#39;t know how much it costs to take a cab from HSR Taoyuan Station or HSR Hsinchu Station to Leofoo Village, as Leofoo only instructs how to travel from the regular (not HSR) train stations:

Translation - ';By train: If traveling northward, alight the train at Hsinchu Railway Station and take Hsinchu Bus to Leofoo.

If traveling southward, alight the train at Chungli Railway Station and take Hsinchu Bus to Leofoo.';

(From Taipei, you%26#39;d be traveling southward)

Leofoo is in Guanxi, Hsinchu County

HSR Hsinchu Station is in Chupei, Hsinchu County

Hsinchu Railway Station is in downtown Hsinchu

Chungli Railway Station is in downtown Chungli

If Leofoo is in Hsinchu County, why do they instruct southbound people to get off at Chungli Railway Station instead of Hsinchu Railway Station? Probably because Guanxi is in between Taoyuan and downtown Hsinchu....

Oh, but by using the word ';between';, I don%26#39;t want to give you the impression that it%26#39;s in the middle; it%26#39;s not. Leofoo is too far from Taoyuan! Leofoo is closer to HSR Hsinchu Station than Hsinchu Railway Station.
