Day 4 [2 March 09, Monday] :
You probably have to take a cab or private hired vehicle downhill from Alishan to Fenchihu as no trains depart Alishan around 1100 hrs to Fenchihu and Chiayi. The public buses head directly to Chiayi and do not enroute Fenchihu along the way downhill.
Taking the Hsinchu bus from Miaoli Railway Station to Dahu, expect to arrive in Dahu around 1600 hrs. Dahu Winery Resort closes at 1730 hrs on weekdays. It seems there is little time to visit both the strawberry farm and wineland resort.
Day 7 [5 March 09, Thursday] :
The Gold Waterfall (黄金瀑布) is the same as Golden Falls. There is no admission charge. I believe the NT188 is the admission ticket for Shifen Falls which currently remains closed.
Have a pleasant trip to Taiwan.

thank taiwanDIY for your prompt reply.
I still have a number of queries below.
1)
In wulai, other than the hot spring and the greenery with cherry blossom, is there any other attractions? Actually, my main purpose visiting wulai is to experience the hot spring. Is there any other things that are interesting to see and buy? I think I have read somewhere that the cable car in Wulai is not in service? Is it still not in service?
Or should I visit bei tou for hot spring? Is there more things to see at bei tou as compared to Wulai?
2)
For the tao yuan trip with mr yang, there are some of the attractions that I cant find much information anywhere. Does anyone know wat are the attractions about? Actually, for my first few days in taiwan, it was planned with many greenery sight seeing, i wonder for the tao yuan trip with mr yang, will I still get to see a lot of greenery?
小人国%26gt; famous mini sculptures around the world.
神牛观光区%26gt; is this place is a zoo/farm? Have no idea what i am going to see here. Cows? Is there fruit plucking?
富田花园农场Tomita Farm %26amp; 大溪花海农场Ta Shee Blooming Oasis %26gt; see the beautiful flowers
慈湖纪念雕塑公园〉%26gt; I have no idea what is place about. Is it a park?
中正公园〉it seems like a park to me? Is it a park?
三峡老街%26gt; What are the things I can buy from this place? any specialties?
I have asked my family, other than the 富田花园农场Tomita Farm %26amp; 大溪花海农场Ta Shee Blooming Oasis, the other attractions does not seem to interest them. How should I plan a fruitful tao yuan trip with mr yang? Can someone help me? My family are not into museum and parks. But it seemed like the suggested attraction in Tao yuan tour is.
3)
From forum, I realised I am in time for the flower festival in Yang Ming Shan. Does the flower in Yang Ming Shan, 富田花园农场Tomita Farm %26amp; 大溪花海农场Ta Shee Blooming Oasis differs a lot? Are they having the similar flowers?
Thank you.
Apart from enjoying a soak in hot springs at Wulai, ride the push-cart to the site of 80m waterfall, take a cable car ride to Yun Hsien Amusement Park, hike in Neidong forest recreation area and experience Atayal aborigine culture, arts and crafts, performance and taste aborigine food at Wulai Old Street.

Your Taoyuan itinerary seems very similar to another former Yagiza’s itinerary.
Check out her blog: …blogspot.com/2008/06/day-13-240508-taipei-t…
At Yang Ming Shan you will see mainly Taiwan cherry, peach blossom, Azalea, Calla lily. These are quite different from the flowers you see at the flower farms in Taoyuan County.
is 富田花园农场Tomita Farm%26gt; 大溪花海农场Ta Shee Blooming Oasis%26gt;三峡老街%26gt;ping xi fesible?
What is the opening hours of 三峡老街?
08 March 09 still has 天灯? Where can I get information of ping xi?
Thank you.
Pingsi is in Taipei County and not in Taoyuan County where Tomita Farm and Ta Shee Blooming Oasis are located. Visit Pingsi when you visit Rueifang, Shifen, Jiufen or Jinguashih.
Lanterns can be released near the mountains at any time of the year in Pingsi, Shifen or Jintong townships and along the Pingsi branch line but not in Taipei City. Some leisure farms in Taiwan also have this activity all year round. You can buy a lantern for NT$100. Usually people write their wishes for peace and good fortune etc on the lantern before releasing it into the sky. The stallholder can assist you to fix the kerosene-soaked incense paper to the lantern before lighting it up.
Please read Guide to the Sky Lantern: http://www.pingshi.com.tw
Sanhsia Old Street can be visited any time of the day or night as it is a public street. The business stores along the street do not have identical business hours. Generally, they are open around 1030 hrs till the evening.
is it easy and safe to book the hsr and alisan forest train through the internet?
i am thinking to visit shangrila farm in yilan on my last day of trip. which do you think is a better place? Wulai or Shangrila farm? How can I get to shangrila farm from taipei NeiJiang Hotel?
