Hi,
I would like TPE experience travelers to help me on my planning.
I will be arriving in TPE at March 22 1450hrs on a Sunday and leaving the following Thu afternoon. I will most probably be staying at TS Hotel.
I intend to visit the following places,
1. Shilin Market
2. XMD
3. Dan Shui
4. Hot Spring; either Beitou or Wulai with outdoor private hot spring. Is it crazy to do to a hotpring at the end of March?
5. A day trip out of TPE with a cab driver as a guide. Any place to recommend?
6. Taipei 101
7. Wu Fen Pu?
8. Flower Garden/Field. I love lavender. Is there any in nearby TPE?
9. Any place that sells toys and kids clothing at wholesale price?
10. Any other recommendations?
Thanks in advance.
5D 4N recommendationYou can probably do 1 and 2 on Sunday.
Do 3, 4 and 5 on the second day. YMS has some flower farms (Water lily if I remember correctly). So my advice is to visit YMS in the morning. Go to Danshui in the aftrenoon. After sunset, end your day with a relaxing hot spring in Beitou to sooth your tired muscles. If you want to grab something to eat, feel free to visit 1 again as it is on the way back to Taipei.
On the third day, you can either go to Jiu-Fen, Keelung, Jing-Gua-Shi; or if you feel up to it, do a quick day-trip of Hualien (though I personally am of the opinion that to truly appreciate Hualien you really need more than 1 day).
On day 4, visit 6 and 7. You can even throw in the SYS Memorial and Rao-He night market as they are all quite close to each other.
5D 4N recommendationI think CKS memorial hall is worth visiting too..
here%26#39;s some pictures of it..

For point 5, you can arrange to go to Jiu Fen, Yehliu, Jinguashi(I personally find it boring), Keelung NM, Ying Yang Hai.
After point 7, you can walk about 10 minutes passing through songshan train station to Raohe NM.
Is the end of March more cooling? If yes, no problem to go for hotspring.
