Budget airline Jetstar Asia/Valuair has removed all remaining fuel

surcharges. This applies across its entire network.

The price adjustment has taken immediate effect and was made in response

to lower fuel prices.

I just did a test booking, round trip tax and surcharge now totals about 1800 NTD, which is a substantial drop over the old surcharge of around 4000 NTD.

Unfortunately, Jetstar seems to have raised their ticket prices. The Jetsaver fare now starts around 3400 NTD one way; so total price still comes to 8500 NTD roundtrip, almost identical to what I paid last time.

I just booked my Taipei tickets on Jetstar last week, to go in April. One person round trip, is only SGD 206 inclusive of all charges. Very good deal :)

How jealous... I bought my tix last Oct during Jetstar 4th Anniversary Promo and I thought it%26#39;s a good deal. And now i realised you got da tix at half price! *fainted*

I read somewhere that Air Asia is also planning to start a Taipei Run in may. Could be from KL and in Ringgit So you should also keep your options open as they just might promote the route aggressively.
