Transport Cost

Hi,

we will be going to Taipei from 23-27 July.

Would greatly appreciate some info on transport costs.

there are 6 of us, so if we are going to the following places, would it be better to hire a cab or take buses/MRT?

1) Taipei - Yehliu - keelung - Jifen

2) Taipei - Taoyuan Ta Shee Blooming Oasis (any other suggestion for flower farm like Ta Shee nearer Taipei?)

3) Suao Cold spring (is this more a place for locals or does tourists come specially for the cold spring dip?)

Transport Cost

Hi

All the spots you mentioned here are outside of taipei metropolis so they are not covered by MRT.

1) Taipei - Yehliu - keelung - Jifen

All three sections are linked by bus. Although a cab may be more efficient

Taipei - Yehliu 102NT

Yehliu - keelung 45NT

keelung - Jifen 45NT

2) Taipei - Taoyuan Ta Shee Blooming Oasis

You can take the train to taoyuan then either hire a cab or take the bus

Taoyuan - Ta Shee 40NT

Ta Shee - Tzu Hu 20NT (note: less service frequency)

3) Suao Cold spring (is this more a place for locals or does tourists come specially for the cold spring dip?)

just take a train from Taipei to Suao

273NT for Tzu-chiang express

Tourists do come for the cold spring

However, I think it%26#39;s not worth it if you visit there just for the cold spring.
