It would cost you NT1100 at least.

What you can do is to take the Airbus East to Taipei City Hall and then take a cab . BUS NTD145, Cab NTD100+

I just did a booking for a pick up at the airport. They are charging me NT$1600. Quite resonable I guess. But there is a clause that stated if I am travelling with baby I have to bring my own carrier? They are not referring to infant car seat, right?

I.m not sure, which company? Do you have a number? I can call and check for you. If you can cancel you booking then do so. There are many Limo services that can take you to Wantai cheaper than NTD1600 which I think is too high.

You can email either of these companies that have service from the Airport to the City. Tell them you are travelling with a bacy.

It%26#39;s possible they were referring to a baby car seat, as there is a baby car seat law here in Taiwan.

NT1600 is expensive? I booked thru OctopusTravel. Actually I called up the hotel prior to that and they quoted me the same price :( Not too sure if I can still cancel the booking. Will check.

Actually it has always been in the region of NT1200. Am I right CC.

Sorry ,its been a while since I took a Cab or Car to the Airport. I just hop onto the Bus as there is a Stop right next to my office.

Hotel Limos are of course more expensive in the NT2500 bracket.

Ohh... I guess cos there are 5 of us, they are giving me a van, that%26#39;s why the price is higher??

After reading about bad experiences with Freego, we pre-booked a private cab service from Tao Yuan airport to the hotel and vice versa. We were very happy with the service provided. The driver is courteous, friendly and punctual. His rates seem to be cheaper than the hotel limos and taxis. He can also communicate in English. He has 4 pax and 8 pax transport. We paid NT$1000 from airport to hotel and NT$900 back to the airport.

On Discover Taipei magazine (Jan/Feb 2009 edition), there is a write-up about airport transfers provided by Mocca Power Co. One way fare is NT$800, reservation - 0926-170-090. However, I haven%26#39;t use their services so won%26#39;t be able to comment.
