Spring City Resort

Hi

Have anyone booked and stayed in Spring City Resort before? I tried emailing them. They have finally responsed. However, they required some credit card details to be emailed back in word format.

Is it safe to reveal such details through email? Any advise on other alternate ways of payment for the room deposit?

However, i am still unsure of how to do the deposit payment. They said that they require a deposit in order to keep my reservation. Can you share more about the deposit payment details?

You also mentioned about them calling you a day before check in. Do they call to your mobile number? Will they assume that the reservation is cancelled if no one picked up their call? i should be using a prepaid card. Hence, I might not be bringing my hp.

I just scanned a copy of the credit card and emailed to Spring City Resort together with the MS Word Doc.

In the email, they mentioned they%26#39;ll usually call customers 1 day before their arrival. However as we were already in Taipei City ( doing our F%26amp;E Tours a couple of days before we went to Beitou)) so what we did was to confirm our reservation via email to them before we left for Taipei.

There%26#39;s a reservation # given to you after your room is reserved. You can use that # for check -in.

One Beitou spring resort I’d recommend is Spa World (水都), Guangming Road, #283, Beitou District, Taipei City (台北市北投區光明路 283號) (02) 2897-9060, it’s a ten-minute walk from Xinbeitou Station. Spa tickets cost NT $899/2 hours, a smaller Japanese-style spring costs NT $599/1.5 hours, add NT $100 weekends.

If you love hot springs I’d suggest Spring City Resort (春天酒店), Youya Road, #18, Beitou District, Taipei City (台北市北投區幽雅路18號) (02) 2897-5555. Spa tickets cost NT $600/hour for a small private room or NT $800 to bathe in the outdoor warm or cold springs (a fantastic experience, to say the least).
