Just a query

My wife and I 60+ seniors are doing an escorted tour to Vietnam early March.

As our entry and exit are through Taipei I was wondering what value it would be for us to capitalize on such an opportunity as this to break our trip with a stayover of possibly 3-4 days in Taipei.

Could we manage OK with english language and are public services easy to manage etc.

Any advice appreciated....shopping,food,transport, hotels,corruption.

Thanks

There%26#39;s a nice MRT system in Taipei ,so it%26#39;s easy to go around by subway.

24- hour convenient stores, supermarkets ,shops, department stores and night markets are everywhere ,so it%26#39;s no need to worry about where to go .

The language will be the only problem ,but in airport or subway english is available.

Maybe a guidebook of Taiwan will provide you more information and wish you have a nice trip.

Thanks for that information.

We like to explore the shopping centres food and markets and would like a clean budget hotel close to facilities and transport.

As we will be on the return leg from Vietnam our funds for clean comfortable accomodation will be limited and as we only sleep in the hotel we don%26#39;t care to spend excess monies for that as long as it is clean and comfortable.

Thank you
