ANY SUGGESTIONS for a (VERY) short weekend trip to Taipei

Hi.

My family (me, husband, 11 yr old son and 6 yr old daughter) are planning to go to Taipei in a couple of months.

Due to work considerations, we can only stay for 3 days (Friday, Saturday and Sunday).

I know I cannot even hope to visit the more famous landmarks of Taipei. However, I hope our trip would include at least some aspects of Taipei that are worth going to.

We plan to go to Taipei 101 and Chang Kai Shek Memorial on our first day, but I do not know where to go on our second day. Due to my 6 yr old, we cannot take any full day tour (like going to Taroko Gorge). I want to go somewhere where we will all (parents and kids) enjoy the place. Leofoo village sounds fun, but my ttravel agent told me that it will the whole day of second day, so maybe it is not worth it.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Jenny
